Long Creek Community:

The North Fork John Day Watershed Council’s greenhouses are up and running! We still have a lot to do but we couldn’t be happier to see all of the native plants that are currently thriving in there! A huge thanks to the Bella Vista foundation for supporting us to install the greenhouses and providing us the capacity to develop this exciting new program!

 

To celebrate, we will be giving away 175 native trees and shrubs to community members and landowners! See below for details!

 

Pick up plants at our new greenhouse facility at the North Fork John Day Watershed Council office on April 25 from 2-5 or April 26 from 10am-1pm.

 

Someone will be there to answer questions and help you choose and load up your trees, if necessary. If you aren’t interested in any native trees but want to see the greenhouses, please come by!
